3. It will say it is not configured but the truth is under the ‘Explain’ tab. Select ‘Enable’ and set reservable bandwidth to zero.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and your internet speed will boost up by 20%.

And thats it!! My orignal images folder which has been renamed with .jad gets hidden and only folder with.jar extension is visible which is empty.So,my data is protected/hidden from unwanted eyes.


To unhide the orignal folder you have to remove the .jar extension from the new folder and your orignal folder with all the files and with .jad will become visible.

How to migrate to Windows 7 from Windows XP ?

- You can not upgrade your Windows XP to Windows 7 directly. First you must keep your user content that you want to maintain when installing Windows 7 onto computer running Windows XP in a safe location. Then do clean installation of Windows 7 on that PC. When the installation is complete, you can move the user content from the safe location to the computer running Windows 7. This is known as Migration to Windows 7 from Windows XP!

There are different types of migration available to migrate user data from one computer to another.

- Side by side Migration - In this method, data is transferred from the source computer to the destination computer directly through special cable or through network. If any data lost or damaged during migration, you can go back to source computer and again transfer the data.

- Wipe and Load Migration - In this method, user data from source computer is transferred to an external storage media such as USB storage device or network share. Following this, remove the existing operation system after migrating data to external device. Then perform the clean installation of Windows 7 and import the data from external location to Windows 7.

After successful migration of data to Windows 7 , you can delete the data from external location.

Macro Virus spreads via e-mails attachments, discs ,networks ,modems and the Internet.

Worms – It may cause damage to the system such as deleting files from the system and may also slow down the system, For example, the Worm Sasser can cause damage such as sending mass e-mailing , It can also clog e-mail servers.

Trojans – A Trojan horse is a program that claims to do something but it actually does something that is not required, They are also known as backdoors, In most cases, a user launches it think it’s a genuine program.

Malware – Malware is a generic term for bad software. The work malware comes from the words malicious and software. Malicious code delivered through Web Browsers and Email clients, Back doors, Trojan horses , user level Rootkits and kernel level manipulation.

4. Disk De-fragmentation -                                                                                                                                     Configure it weekly once.

5. Full System Scan

    Install a good Anti virus and keep always updated. Schedule a full system scan every week.

6. Delete all cookies and histories from all browsers.

   Select all and press OK

7. Kill unwanted processes from task manager.

8. Change Power settings

9. Turn Off Search Indexing

HOW TO WRITE A ONE LINER SCRIPT FOR BACKUP FILES IN WINDOWS 100% working

Scripting always make tasks easier. The below script helps you in a way that you do not have to manually go to the location and copy the files and paste in external drive or any other destination. You just have to run this script in command prompt. which does automatically all your work. This is just a basic scripting, you may add more functions into it.                                                                               We use xcopy to do this tasks.

1- Open Notepad

2- Write as I mentioned below:

 @echo off

color 1e

xcopy D:\test1\*.* E:\test2\ /E /Y

echo Backup Completed!

Here we copying data from D:\test1 this location to E:\test2 .

3- Save this file as Backup.bat on your desktop.

4- Open command prompt - Goto Run and type cmd then hit enter.

5- Type cd desktop (we have saved backup.bat script on desktop)

6- Type backup.bat and enter

You could see that all files have been copied to the destination folder without doing manually.!

WHAT TO DO WHEN TWITTER LOCKS YOUR ACCOUNT
